Where to Stay

Where to Stay in the USVI

5,000 rooms, 57% occupancy.

Overview

Some top resorts in St. Thomas, mainly around Charlotte Amalie and East End, close to the best beaches, with plenty on offer for families with kids. The Marriot and Ritz Carlton are the flagship resorts, but there are plenty of guest houses and villas for rent.

In St. John, most of the hotels are low-impact, laid-back resorts, although the Westin on Great Cruz Bay is in a world of its own. With its vast stretches of national park, St. John is also one of the few islands where it’s worth camping. Try the Cinnamon Bay campground.

In St. Croix, the upmarket resorts are clustered along the North Shore, while condos, guest houses and inns make a cheaper, more personal alternative.
